AISP Ladies in Cyber Symposium 2022
As part of SG Women 2021 and International Women Day 2022, AiSP will host the inaugural Ladies in Cyber Symposium for female youths, which will cover four distinct subjects related to cybersecurity, including the significance of cybersecurity and how women can contribute to it. The event will be attended by 160 youths and professionals (subject to COVID-19 limits).
“What we’re trying to achieve here is not to spotlight women because they are women,” said Ms. Sherin Y Lee, Vice-President and Founder of the AiSP Ladies in Cyber Initiative.
The folks at AiSP are attempting to spread the notion that women can and have done amazing things in the field of cybersecurity by offering concrete examples.
From establishing companies, goods, and services, to technology security design and operations, to incident response and recovery for enterprises, there is a role for everyone. Another lesson we want to get through is that cybersecurity is more than just programming.
