Our Resource Dedicated To ASIS International

Asis International (ASIS) is a global association committed to the security management profession with over 38,000 members from over 150 countries. To raise standards and build more ethical working practices, ASIS supports best practices, credentials, research, and standards for security professionals across all industries.

Every year, the organization offers a variety of conferences, events, and seminars for members to gain information, stay up to date on cutting-edge security subjects, build new collaborations, and share hands-on experience.

ASIS hosted several events in 2020, including the 2020 ASIS Security Management Conference and Exhibition. The conference, held in San Antonio, Texas from October 25th to 28th, featured live and virtual seminars dedicated to security management professionals, as well as keynote speakers from several businesses. Keynote speakers included former FBI Director Robert S. Mueller, Nathan Fletcher, Executive Chairman of the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, and Anand Swaminathan, Vice President for Global Security of Johnson & Johnson.

The ASIS 2020 Middle East Security Conference and Exhibition, which took place from November 2nd to 4th in Dubai, UAE, was another important event in 2020. The seminar was organized by the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and featured specialists on the newest advancements in national identity, immigration, border, and data management techniques.

As the year 2021 approaches, ASIS will continue to conduct a variety of events to connect cutting-edge security solutions. Their 2021 Global Security Exchange (GSX), formerly known as Global Security Exchange Expo (GSXE), will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from October 3rd to 7th. The GSX overview sessions will be hosted by former Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper and Dr. Anthony Mothae Maruping, Chief Executive Officer of the African Development Bank (AfDB). Additional speakers are expected to talk on a variety of themes by the deadline, including cyber-attacks, international security challenges, travel security, security training and management, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

From April 19th to 20th, ASIS will also organize a virtual Security Industry Summit. Major General Christine Whitecross (Ret) and Jack Denofrio, founders of the Aerospace Defense Exchange, will speak at the conference, as will representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Asis International aims to create creative ways to connect security professionals all over the world and to ensure that their security practitioners have the most up-to-date skills and knowledge. ASIS provides an excellent venue for networking, gaining insight, and sharing best practices to help maintain global security through its events, conferences, and seminars.
