Magnetic Aspire 2022
The goal of Cisco is to enable a more inclusive future. 2020 saw a rise in systematic racial injustice, oppression, and inequality across the world. Cisco established Social Justice Beliefs and Actions to promote equality and opportunities for underrepresented populations in order to bring about good change.
The Aspire Fund, which was introduced in September 2020 as a part of the Social Justice Actions, has increased Cisco’s commitment to funding and granting venture funds and businesses run by people of color access to go-to-market resources. While Cisco continues to make progress with the Aspire Fund, there is still more to be done.
Cisco will conduct the first Magnetic Aspire virtual summit on September 8. Cisco executives will converse openly and honestly with leaders from the venture capital and startup ecosystems at the one-day conference about:
- Why diversity is critical to growing a business
- How to build diversity into an organization’s DNA
- Why investment in diversity and inclusion lifts organizations and communities

Cut Through Cybersecurity Complexity by Converging Key Capabilities at the Edge
A growing reliance on software as a service (SaaS) applications and the use of remote workers both contribute to the development of new security vulnerabilities. It is more difficult to secure consumers at the edge, which entails ensuring connections are frictionless in order to maximize productivity without causing performance difficulties that lower user satisfaction.
