Holyrood Communications

Holyrood Communications, located in Edinburgh, Scotland, is one of the UK’s premier Cybersecurity conference organizers.

We’re particularly happy to have their events in our directory because the founders of InfoSec Conferences (Concise AC) are Scottish!

So, here’s the latest on their events this year.

Digital Health and Care Scotland 2022

Holyrood Connect is happy to announce the in-person return of its extremely successful Digital Health and Care Scotland conference for the 11th year in a row.

2021 has been another tremendously difficult year for people working in the industry. The Digital Health and Care Scotland conference, hosted by Holyrood Connect, will allow delegates to explore how digital technology can help rebuild and remobilize our health and care system, eventually supporting the shift from crisis mode to a system focused on prevention, early intervention, and self-management.

Following the publication of the Scottish Government’s updated Digital Health and Care Strategy in October 2021, the event will include talks on many of the themes addressed in it, ranging from digital exclusion and citizen choice to data usage and artificial intelligence.

Public Sector Cyber Security Scotland 2022

Holyrood Connect is excited to announce the return of its wildly successful Public Sector Cyber Security Scotland conference in person. During Cyber Scotland Week, the conference will once again serve as the primary event for public sector personnel.

Our 2022 conference will look at how the Scottish Government’s recently announced Cyber Resilient Scotland: Strategic Framework is being implemented, as well as the significant cyber concerns facing Scotland’s public sector as it transitions to a hybrid working paradigm post-pandemic.

Further sessions will look at the convergence of cyber security and new technologies like 5G and AI, as well as how Scotland can become a global leader in developing a diverse cyber security workforce.

Public Sector Data Summit 2022

From the Protect Scotland app to online learning and coronavirus testing, digital solutions – particularly those that use data – have exploded in the public sector during the last two years. Data is the foundation of these advancements that guarantee our community thrives, and with this concentration on data comes a host of critical concerns that must be explored.

While big data has enormous promise, the basis upon which the public sector leverages data must be solid. In our more digital world, data quality, stewardship, governance, and security are just a few of the pillars that must be adapted and strengthened. With these in place, the industry may next consider new methods to use data, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Join Holyrood Connect for the inaugural annual Public Sector Data Summit, where speakers will cover these critical components of data. On March 8th, they’ll also examine the power of data through a variety of material, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and product demos.

Building on the success of previous events, the conference will draw from an established pool of interested attendees who will attend to have access to cutting-edge insights provided by thought leaders from across the world.

Public Sector Cyber Security Northern Ireland 2022

Holyrood Connect is pleased to announce the return of its popular Public Sector Cyber Security Northern Ireland conference in person. The 4th annual Cyber Security Northern Ireland conference will once again serve as the main event for Northern Ireland’s public sector cyber security experts.

The 2022 conference will look at the key cyber concerns confronting Northern Ireland’s public sector as it transitions to a new normal of functioning post-pandemic.

The sessions will look into the future of cyber security by delving into topics such as the growing threat of ransomware and the importance of incident response planning, the next generation of workers, including the role of neurodiversity and skill development in youth, and innovative security solutions such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. Delegates will get the opportunity to hear sector thought leaders debate critical subjects at the core of the current cyber security landscape during these panel discussions.
