These events are organized by the Irish Reporting and Information Security Service (IRISSCERT).
In the month of November, IRISSCERT hosts an annual conference with the topic of cyber crime as the central focus. The purpose of this conference, which lasts for the entirety of a day, is to provide attendees with an overview of the current cyber risks that are confronting businesses in Ireland and what those attendees can do to assist combat those threats.
Attendees benefit from hearing the perspectives and first-hand experiences of industry professionals on various topics of cybercrime and cybersecurity.
Anyone who is responsible for ensuring the safety of their company’s information assets is welcome to attend the conference. In order to pay the costs of catering and other miscellaneous organizational expenditures, there is a small fee of €50 per person attending the event.
The IRISS Annual Conference provides attendees with the chance to not only expand their knowledge but also meet and network with other professionals in a setting that is both casual and professional.
