The Web Conference (previously www conference) is an annual worldwide conference focused on the World Wide Web’s future developments.
The conference series began in 1994 at CERN and has been conducted by the International World Wide Web Conferences Committee from 1994 until 2021. (IW3C2).
The goal of the Conference is to offer the world with a premier platform for discussion and debate regarding the growth of the Web, the standardization of its related technologies, and the influence of those technologies on society and culture. The conference brings together researchers, developers, users, and business endeavors – in short, everyone who is enthusiastic about the Web and what it has to offer.
The conference series previously known as World Wide Web Conference (WWW) has been rebranded “The Web Conference” or “TheWebConf” with a new brand and communication approach beginning with the 2018 edition.
