The USENIX Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to advancing the reach of creative research and promoting advanced computing systems ecosystems. They are well-known for hosting conferences and publishing research, but their greatest skill is in forming computing communities. They advocate their communities’ interests in a number of ways, including through their professional association with the Computing Research Association.
USENIX has been bringing together the community of engineers, system administrators, SREs, researchers, and technicians working on the leading edge of computing since 1975. USENIX conferences have established themselves as the premier gathering place for the presentation and debate of cutting-edge knowledge on the development of all elements of computer systems.
