For the eighth time, ISSA Polska, ISACA Warsaw Chapter and Computerworld magazine organized a SEMAFOR conference – IT Security and Audit Forum, which was held in Warsaw on 26 and 27 March 2015. This year, under the slogan “A new edition of information security and IT audit”, we focused on practical issues in the area of IT audit, technical and management aspects of information security, challenges related to legal regulations and IT Governance. The conference program consisted of 3 factual paths: (1) IT audit , a path dedicated to the requirements of IT audit in the changing IT world, challenges faced by IT Governace, etc. (2) Information security management – dedicated to the management of information security and operational risk, regulatory challenges, protection of personal data and privacy as well as business continuity. We also discussed the soft aspects of work in information security. (3) Technical aspects of information security , in which more technical lectures devoted to cybersecurity, threats, attacks, forensic information, as well as application security, IT infrastructure including critical infrastructure, security in application development, etc. were conducted.
