The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is rapidly developing and diversifying its economy as part of Vision 2030. A key factor of this bold new economic plan is information and communications technology (ICT). However, the widespread use of ICT heightens the risk of cyber security threats from hackers, hacktivists, insiders, organised criminals, and even foreign governments. In order to successfully combat these threats, the Kingdom must develop relevant standards, policies and legal frameworks; share and disseminate critical information and alerts; and most importantly, create further education and awareness among cyber security stakeholders. In pursuit of these goals, Ministry of Interior (MOI) represented by National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), in partnership with Naseba, will organise the 2nd Annual International Cyber Security Conference (ICSC) on February 27th – 28th, 2017 at the exclusive Security Forces Officer’s Club in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
