Now in its 37th year, MILCOM, co-hosted by AFCEA International and the IEEE Communications Society, continues to be the premier international conference for military communications. MILCOM brings together global military and commercial communication professionals to face command, control, communications, computing, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C5ISR) challenges head on. They look at them from every angle and discuss them from end to end – research and development through future needs. The conference allows industry the opportunity to hear and understand the requirements, pace of change and state of play in a variety of C5ISR markets serving the military, federal agencies and multinational entities.
MILCOM solicits unclassified technical papers and proposals for tutorials and panels on current and emerging topics applicable to all facets of military communications. We encourage professionals in industry, academia and government worldwide to contribute and participate.
The MILCOM Technical Program is organized into five top-level topic tracks including Waveforms and Signal Processing, Networking Protocols and Performance, Cyber Security and Trusted Computing, System Perspectives, and Big Data and Machine Learning for Tactical Networks. Contribution sought include but are not limited to academic, operational, conceptual and other aspects of current or anticipated military communications, or advances to take warfighter communications to the next levels. MILCOM welcomes submissions from government and military service programs and laboratories to embrace current trends in military communications.
