Robert Morris University, in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh’s Institute for Cyber Law, Policy and Security, is hosting its annual week-long Air Force Association CyberCamp for high school students July 22-26, 2019. The camp inspires students to take an interest in cybersecurity and other STEM fields. The interactive curriculum is focused on cyber ethics, systems security and network security. The week concludes with a cyber-defense competition that simulates cyber security intrusions.
The camp is taught by RMU faculty and other professionals and also includes a series of engaging speakers to encourage discussion on technology-related careers and college admissions, cyber ethics, technology policy and governance, and other topics of interest. We focus much of our recruiting efforts to encourage students from underrepresented populations to attend. The camp is free to all students! To continue to offer this service to area youth and to the region, RMU’s Center for Cyber Research and Training (CCRT) is seeking sponsors for our 2019 camp.
