The sixth edition of 3CS will be held at the Bossier Parish Community College in Louisiana. Previous Summits took place at Moraine Valley Community College near Chicago (2014), College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas (2015), Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh (2016), Prince George’s Community College in Maryland (2017), and Mt. Hood Community College in Oregon (2018).
3CS is produced and organized by the National CyberWatch Center, National Resource Center for Systems Security and Information Assurance (CSSIA), CyberWatch West (CWW), and Broadening Advanced Technological Education Connections (BATEC), which are all funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The outcomes of 3CS leverage community college cybersecurity programs across the nation by introducing the most recent technologies, curricula, best practices, products, and more.
Who should attend:
IT faculty who are involved or who would like to become engaged in cybersecurity education. Non-IT faculty in critical infrastructure fields who are interested in incorporating cybersecurity topics into their curricula.
College administrators in positions that influence cybersecurity education programs.
Cybersecurity students who are interested in learning about security or expanding their current knowledge by attending the 3CS Job Fair and Career Exploration sessions throughout the Summit.
Employers interested in discovering excellent cybersecurity talent at the 3CS Job Fair and Career Exploration. All employers will receive student resumes two weeks before the event and will be invited to a National CyberWatch Center luncheon with educators who create and shape academic program content.
Colleges interested in increasing their institution’s transfer population by marketing their degree program to faculty (at 3CS) and to students (at 3CS Job Fair and Career Exploration).
Federal, state, and local government officials who wish to hire cybersecurity students or influence cybersecurity education programs.
Business and industry representatives who want to sponsor 3CS and other cybersecurity education initiatives, influence cybersecurity education programs, recruit cybersecurity students or sell cybersecurity-related products.
