The Middle East Cyber security market size is expected to grow from USD 11.38 billion in 2017 to USD 22.14 Billion by 2022, at a compound annual growth rate of 14.2%. The constant increase in sophistication of attacks towards the public sector is making the digital landscape ever more challenging. As data and digital experiences are placed into the hands of others, the concept of trust becomes even more crucial. Businesses can rise or fall based on trust—companies abusing their customers’ trust face millions or billions of dollars in regulatory fines and lost market value Those incidents, in conjunction with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into effect, are starting to have an impact on the industry’s big players.
Bearing the vision of making middle east more cyber aware; the event aims at identifying strategies to push risk, crisis and security management culture in every public sector organisation to ensure better cyber readiness.
