Fort Detrick takes cybersecurity very seriously.
And it should, since it’s a Maryland Army base with a complex of laboratories that defend the nation against biological weapons. This year, it’s holding its first-ever IT & Cyber Day at Fort Detrick.
This one-day event features training sessions and exhibits allowing the Army post’s varied audience to connect and discuss the IT and cyber issues that are unique to Fort Detrick.
What should exhibitors expect?
- This event will be promoted to IT and cybersecurity personnel at the Fort’s 3 major groups: US Army Fort Detrick Garrison commands, the National Cancer Institute and the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID).
- Expected personnel include: program managers, information systems security engineers; staff from the Network Enterprise Center (NEC), Signal Battalion, Information Assurance Training Center, Information Systems Engineering Command, IT and CIO personnel; and other technical groups.
- This event will be held at the Community Activities Center, which has top-notch technology and convenient parking.
This IT & Cyber Day offers an exceptional chance to network with an important group of scientific and military cyberpersonnel for the first time.
