M3AAWG meetings, which are open to members only, are multiple-track events held three times a year and generally attended by over 300 participants. Leading industry professionals, researchers, and public policy officials address such diverse topics as bot mitigation practices, social networking abuse, mobile abuse, and pending legislation. Each four-day meeting is an exceptional opportunity to discuss the most recent in messaging security with other experts in a focused environment of working sessions and educational panels.
M3AAWG is founded in 2004 and is a technology-neutral, non-political working body. They systematically focus on operational issues of Internet abuse including technology, industry collaboration and public policy. Their membership Includes Internet Service Providers (ISPs), telecom companies, Email Service Providers (ESP), social networking companies, leading hardware and software vendors, major brands, major antivirus vendors and numerous security vendors.
