Join Sapphire and partners at our NISC regional event taking place at Haydock Park on Thursday 7th February.
In-line with our National Information Security Conference (NISC) this highly focused cyber security event is designed with the aim of helping businesses stay ahead of new and evolving cyber-threats. The event will comprise of insightful presentations delivered by industry experts, coupled with opportunities for peer-to-peer collaboration and networking in a professional environment.
Keynote Presentation: A Visit to the Dark Side: how hackers sell your data and more on the Darknet
Our opening keynote is being delivered by Mark Johnson, Founder & CEO of the Risk Management Group. His session will discuss ‘What is the Darknet’ including a live tour, during which Mark will explain the Darknets role in cyber attacks. Other topics for discuss include:
- Guns, drugs and fake identities
- Hackers for rent
- Credit cards and Paypal accounts for sale
Further presentation topics include: The Current Threat Landscape, Deception: The New Approach to Threat Intelligence and Practical Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions that are proven to work (and some to avoid).
All delegates have the opportunity and are welcome to stay for (ISC)2 North West Chapter Meeting. This is a plenary event and you do not need to be a member to attend.
