Join SANS for their annual ICS Europe Summit on June 24 – 29, 2019 in Munich, Germany. The current cybersecurity landscape presents a very diverse and chaotic picture of the threats facing industrial control system owners and operators. Attacks that cause physical damage or impact physical processes are no longer limited to theory or speculation. We’ve now seen several high-profile cases where malicious actors have successfully intruded, caused system damage, and impacted operations. Disruptive malware delivered through increasingly creative methods has found their way to plant floors encrypting critical files or in some cases wiping those files altogether. Our industrial control systems are as critical as ever and we need to be prepared to better defend them or face a turbulent future.
Take a look at some of the fascinating talks SANS have lined up:
- ICS Down! It’s Go Time.
Christopher Robinson, Principal Consultant, Industrial Control Systems, Cylance
- OT Security Requirements vs. Real Life stories
Łukasz Maciejewski, Security Manager, Accenture
- Extending an IT SOC to include critical OT/ICS systems. The perspective and a real use case study of Airbus as an asset owner
Dr. Tobias Kiesling, OT Security Team Lead at Airbus Security, and Dr. Falk Lindner, Industrial IT Security Services at Airbus Security.
- Using ICS/SCADA Honeypots – the right way!
Mikael Vingaard, Preparedness Manager, Energinet
