Meet and Learn with the Leading InfoSec Professionals
SecureWV is a security conference held in Charleston, West Virginia. It is about the infoSec community and is small enough that you can talk directly with the speakers, but large enough that you can find attendees with similar interests.
The Keynote speakers for this year are Joshua Spence (State of WV, Chief Technology Officer) and Robert Krug (Senior Security Solution Architect).
There are a lot of activities that will happen at this conference, it includes:
- Hardware Hacking Village
The event’s sponsor SME will be supplying soldering iron stations and a handful of tools and supplies for your hardware hacking pleasure. Learn to solder and create some interesting things. - Lockpick Village
A physical security demonstration and participation area. This is where participants can practice on locks of different levels. - CTF Village
CTF red and blue team players will compete against one another by exploiting known vulnerable machines. - Sponsor / Employer Village
This is where you can find a new job. - Amateur Radio Exam
If you’re interested in becoming an Amateur Radio operator or hold a license you’d like to upgrade, there will be an Amateur Radio Licensing Exam Session at Hack3rCon. - PGP Key Signing Party
