The V J ornadas N ational I esearch in C iberseguridad (IASB) will be held in San Francisco Complex Caceres between days 5 and 7 June 2019 . For the first time, these conferences are organized jointly by various promoter teams: the University of Extremadura, the COMPUTAEX Foundation and the Complutense University of Madrid. This synergy of the promoter groups is based precisely on previous editions of the JNIC.
The National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE) collaborates in the realization of these Days. INCIBE is the national reference entity for the development of cybersecurity and the digital trust of citizens, academic and research networks, professionals, companies and especially for strategic sectors. It is INCIBE’s mission to support R & D & I to generate knowledge and technology that meets the needs and challenges posed by cyber threats and cyber attacks.
JNIC is a scientific congress that promotes contact, exchange and discussion of ideas, knowledge and experiences between the academic and research network on the one hand, and professionals and companies on the other. It serves to escape the latest scientific advances in the field and materializes a discussion forum in which to present perspectives and innovative approaches in cybersecurity, enabling the connection between research and innovative action and the development of products and services of value to society.
Researchers and professionals from different parts of the national geography will present the results of their scientific research from different perspectives with a common nexus: cybersecurity.
As in previous editions, the Conference will focus on three fundamental areas: Research in Cybersecurity, Teaching and Educational Innovation in Cybersecurity and Technology Transfer.
In this edition, as a novelty, revised and extended versions of the best articles can be sent to Special Issues of different international journals indexed in relevant positions of the JCR, which represents a leap in quality and a great attraction for researchers.
