Delighted to be able to include this InfoSec event in Johannesburg, South Africa. There are not that many Cyber Security conferences in SA, especially as a result of the Coronavirus but nevertheless, delighted to list this event – not least because it is aimed at Women In Cybersecurity,

According to the most recent research from the Center for Cyber Safety and Education and the Executive Women’s Forum on Information Security, Risk Management & Privacy (EWF), conducted by Frost & Sullivan, women continue to comprise only 11 percent of the information security workforce. That number, despite women making up approximately half of the world population, has remained stagnant since 2013.
The inaugural Africa Women in Cyber & Information Security Conference is a networking conference that looks to celebrate and highlight the value and successes of women in the Cybersecurity industry and the event gathers women from the academia, private sector, and government from across the region at varying points along the career spectrum. This will be a chance for women that are passionate about Cybersecurity to connect with one another, to strengthen relationships and build new ones.
