 Our Review

Say no more. Black Hat Europe (in London) in 2020 is huge and one of the primary hacker conferences you can attend. Highly recommended. I believe that this year the event will be a physical event that will take place in London, UK – but, as ever with anything in 2020, please double-check. DEF CON (Black Hat was a later commercial spinoff), has now gone online so yes, just double-check. If you are a Cybersecurity Professional in London then I’d absolutely encourage you to attend this event, you can consider it as the “must-attend” event of the year, especially for those in the offensive niche of InfoSec.

Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Thursday, July 2nd 2020, or created by us.

Black Hat is considered by many as one of the most relevant and technical information security event series in the world. For over 20 years, Black Hat Briefings have provided participants with the recent topics in information security development, research, and trends in a strictly vendor-neutral environment.

These high-profile global events and Training are driven by the needs of the security community, striving to gather the best minds in the industry. The event series also inspires experts and professionals at all career levels, encouraging collaboration and growth among academia, world-class researchers, and leaders in the public and private sectors.

From its inception in 1997, Black Hat has grown from a single annual conference in Las Vegas to one of the most respected information security event series internationally.

Today, Black Hat Briefings and Training are held annually in the United States, Europe, and Asia, providing a premier venue for elite security researchers and trainers to find their audience.

Last year’s event, 2019, took place in December, so remember that the date of Black Hat 2020 in London is different.
