Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Sunday, February 23rd 2020, or created by us.
Following the success of the last edition of the 2019 workshop on Blockchains and Smart Contracts, BSC is back this 2020 for the 3rd International Workshop on Blockchains and Smart Contracts, which will be held in conjunction with the 11th IFIP International Conference on New Technologies, Mobility and Security (NTMS).
Blockchain has recently emerged as a disruptive technology that may revolutionize our societies and the world economy, with applications in key industries including finance, energy, insurance, mobility, healthcare, and logistics. A blockchain is typically a decentralized, trustless and continuously growing ledger that is used to record and keep track of every transaction across a peer-to-peer network of participants.
The conference & workshop are supported by IFIP TC6 WG6.2 and IEEE France.
Papers that are accepted and presented will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®, IFIP Digital Library as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
The workshop is also collaborating this year with the International Journal of Forensic Software Engineering.
