Say no more. We’re likely the web’s biggest BSides fans. We’ve posted hundreds (must be creeping up to a thousand by now) BSide events and we’ve done it gladly and proudly! BSides is a fantastic InfoSec series of events. Each chapter has two gigantic benefits: one, it allows you to network with other Cyber Security Professionals in your city, and secondly, you’ll be able to learn from other tech-savvy Cyber folk in an informal setting. Good luck to the organizers and let us know if you have attended this event.
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Tuesday, March 3rd 2020, or created by us.
BSides Brisbane was founded in 2018 by 2 passionate security professionals located in Brisbane, Australia. They are Josh Riesenweber and Brodie Carter.
Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events by and for information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of time and space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both participate and present in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration.
The event is looking for a mix of topics and presentation lengths, in order to keep things interesting and approachable. For technical presentations, a focus on the methodology and approach to your topic of conversation is encouraged.
