 Our Review

We don’t list that many InfoSec events in Egypt so we’re delighted to be able to list this one not least because it’s a BSides event! BSides take place in hundreds of cities around the world. They’re fantastic events to attend if you are looking to learn from local Cybersecurity Professionals based in Cairo as well as of course making new friends in the industry.

Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Thursday, December 26th 2019, or created by us.

BSides Cairo is another information security conference of the BSides series organized by and for the community. It’s open for information security experts, academics, security researchers, graduate students, undergrads, corporations and any individual who wants to learn and share knowledge from others.

BSides Cairo aims to gather researchers, experts, and students to share their thoughts, experiences, and projects, to face together the most recent information security challenges of our days and to come up with collaborations and new ideas.

The events’ mission is to create a more knowledge-based conference regardless of academic title, age, or industrial position, and to provide the Egyptian community with an alternative conference by removing the marketing-driven conferences and current common industrial and providing a more technical approach regarding all the organization aspects of an information security conference, from the speakers to the target audience.
