We’re big fans of BSides as anyone who has ever visited our security events directory before will know. Of interest with this particular BSides event in the Midwest is that they’ve organized a CTF event; and that’s pretty awesome. We wish the team the best of luck with this event.
Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Friday, October 2nd 2020, or created by us.
BSides Cincinnati is pleased to announce our 2020 conference.
The next BSides Cincinnati will be held on Saturday, Sep 12th 2020, and we are excited that we will be returning to the Cincinnati Union Terminal Museum Center, which underwent a multi-year renovation shortly after the last time we held the conference at this venue. This iconic art-deco building is located in the heart of Cincinnati’s industrial basin, and today houses the region’s only Amtrak station as well as three museums and event spaces.
The planning committee is working hard to put together the best BSides Cincinnati yet. We are committed to bringing tougher CTF challenges, as well as another great list of speakers from the region and the InfoSec community. Keep checking back with us, and follow our Twitter account. We plan to open up CFP in early 2020, and will have more announcements as that time approaches.
Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.
