And – here’s another BSides event! We must have listed over a thousand of these events and we could be more delighted to do so. BSides events are action-packed and rammed full of goodness for primarily two reasons: firstly, they are a great way to network with peers within the industry and the local community, not least in Hawaii where there is an NSA base. The second reason why we love BSides and they will always be welcome in our InfoSec directory is that the speakers are typically pretty awesome. The reason I say that is because BSides events were created to allow the “other speakers” a chance to share their research in a welcoming environment.

Presented by Hi Tech Hui and other supporting organizations, BSides Hawaii will bring you interactions and conversations between the audience and leading security insiders.
One of the events’ goal is to provide participants with the chance to make lasting connections and education, instead of being overwhelmed with hundreds of gimmicks and faces. Another aim is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of time and space. BSides Hawaii WILL BE where conversations for the next-big-things are happening.
According to the organizers, they are working hard to ensure that valuable presenters will encourage, resonate, challenge and inspire participants of all tech levels. Whether you’re a student just getting started, trying to level up or are already a Cyber Security expert looking for the next project, go ahead and grab your ticket!
