 Our Review

As any regular to our directory will tell you we are avid fans of BSides and this hacker con (as we like to call BSides events) is no different taking place in the beautiful city of Munich. If you aren’t in Germany and you’re reading this and are unfamiliar with BSides, then you should really get to know the organization because they are fantastic for two reasons: firstly, you’ll meet and network with a bunch of new people within your community and industry, which obviously has clear benefits for your career, but also, you’ll learn the latest and greate hacking skills and talks all in a non-vendor style. We wish the organizers all the luck in the world and if you do attend please leave a review below.

Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Monday, December 9th 2019, or created by us.

BSidesMunich is an independently organized premier security event in Munich, Germany. Its aim is to gather both internationally and locally renowned professionals. As an offshoot of their Meetup group, MUC:SEC, this event extends their goals of bringing local computer security experts together to exchange experience and ideas and most importantly, establishing trust relationships within the community. This event is free.

Security BSides events are hosted around the world and are community-driven conferences. This also means that the event will be what every participant makes of it. So the success of the event will depend on your active participation, give a talk (in English), design a challenge for other attendees, create a workshop, help with the CTF or sponsoring.
