We’re huge fans of the BSides, you’ll see constant reminders and mentions of that throughout our directory so we’re particularly delighted to have BSides Orlando appear as an InfoSec event taking place in April 2020. Let us know if you attend and drop a review below so we can let everyone know about this event in 2020 and in 2021! BSides events are particularly awesome because you get to meet a bunch of similar-minded folk within the InfoSec space so you’ll get a ton of personal networking done. Furthermore, you’ll learn from “real” Cybersecurity folk and not just sales guys selling you the latest scare-tactic solution.

BSides Orlando is a community-driven conference that aims to gather everyone with a passion for protecting, making, and breaking. Experts, newbies, or anyone in between are welcome. You will sure to find topics of interest even if you don’t work in the information security field. You are invited to join on April 11, 2020, in Orlando, Florida, for the 8th Annual Security BSides Orlando Conference.
The conference theme for 2020 is “Southern Hospitality“. To that end, the event will focus on scavengers hunts, demos, workshops, and adventures that will challenge everyone. Look for references to a time when the transistor was not the key to innovation! The event wants everyone to get their “hands dirty” and learn more about ICS, SCADA, CTFs, Software Defined Radio Demos, and how to build your career path in Information Security.
The conference will be held once again at the Full Sail Live (approximately 20 minutes north from the Orlando International Airport).
