Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Thursday, January 23rd 2020, or created by us.

BSides Tallahassee is a local event of Security BSides which is a community-driven framework for and by information security community members to participate and present in an intimate & collaborative atmosphere featuring discussions, demos, & interaction from attendees.

The conference is looking for speakers that wish to share their knowledge, present, and discuss topics related to human interaction in an insecure and changing world. Some of the most interesting and best-received talks from their 2019 event were those that covered social engineering, human adaptation to technology and connections, and how to create a better-informed population. If you would like to speak on topics such as…

  • government adoption of technology
  • journalism challenges in the age of social media
  • the interactions and complicated intersections of science, technology, and society

…then the organizers would love to feature your talk.
