Nope, we are NOT letting Coronavirus get in the way of our learning and ability to better ourselves with our career and personal ambitions. Let's not let this negative overwhelm us. With this "downtime" let's maximize the time and upskill and learn how to be better at our InfoSec professions. To help, we've put together a bunch of online webinars, conferences and seminars that you can attend to do exactly that.

 Our Review

Pretty damn amazing InfoSec event to join if you’re in the North Carolina (southern region), United States. This conference is particularly impressive because of the wide range of activities going on. The organizers have certainly gone to significant effort to make sure that your experience is a richly-rewarded one in terms of learning new Cyber skills. We’d absolutely encourage you get yourself down to this event, especially if you’re working in Cybersecurity in North Carolina.

CackalackyCon, 501c3 non-profit that serves as a community partnership to provide a hacker conference in the triangle area.

The event first started in 2019 and carries the torch of a long-standing tradition of hacker conferences in the Triangle and larger southeastern United States to provide free and open education, information sharing, and community development.

The conference’s main talk room last year takes up an entire floor so expect that for 2020, it will once again be filled with participants. There will also be several side events which include wireless shootout, lockpicking village, chillout space, Capture the Flag, and many more. The hotel also provides a private bar for participants, as well as an outdoor pool.
