The good is this: we’d encourage CXO level employees to attend this event to learn more about penetration testing, incident response, and threat intelligence and all that good stuff, not least because you’ll have the chance to network with like-minded peers. The bad is that the guys and gals over at CREST have a reputation (at least in our experience) of being a rather frosty-bunch and somewhat aloof. Brush that aside and you’ll be all good. Let us know how it goes and drop us a review!

CRESTCon is now celebrating its 10th year and considered by many as an important date in the industry calendar. The event is designed to attract an impressive line up of speakers. Last year’s event (2019) welcomed more than 450 delegates from the security industry in a wide range of positions that ranged from senior managers and CISOs to senior penetration testers, threat intelligence analysts and brand new entrants to the industry.
The event includes two busy exhibition rooms along with three conference streams and a dedicated student demo area that will provide the chance for students to showcase their work. There is also a special networking event for students, sponsors, and ex-military personnel that are looking to retrain into cyber careers.
Delegates are also invited to attend an after-event party in the evening and this will be held this year in the botanical garden which includes a barbecue. Separate tickets are available to purchase for this in bulk so sponsors or delegates are able to invite additional guests to network with during the evening. Tickets for the event are available on the Eventbrite website.
