 Our Review

This is one of the “must-attend” Cyber Security events for those working within SCADA/ICS technologies. Smart Grid & Cities might be all the rage at the moment but they are all – to some degree – susceptible to the porous nature of some SCADA (PLC) technology. This event is part of a series with the other taking place in Boston.

Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Tuesday, February 18th 2020, or created by us.

CyberCon is considered a must-attend cybersecurity event for power and utility executives concerned about securing their organization from future cyberattacks. These series are scheduled for March 30 – April 1, 2020 (Anaheim), June 23 – 25, 2020 (Boston) and October 20 – 22, 2020 (Austin). CyberCon empowers participants with unprecedented access to experts, technologies, strategies, and solutions on how to safeguard your assets and, ultimately, the U.S. power grid from additional cybersecurity attacks.

There are many events with existing content on OT cybersecurity solutions from a technical perspective, but CyberCon series will be focusing on the management problem areas. These conferences has the answers to the Industrial cybersecurity questions relevant in today’s marketplace:

  • How do I evaluate OT cybersecurity and cyber-physical incidents as a business risk?
  • What technology do I REALLY need?
  • When I should deploy it? What do I need to do first?
  • How do I get my head around an effective OT cybersecurity program?
