This is, without doubt, one of the most high-powered (“high-brow”) Cybersecurity conferences taking place in Europe in March and possibly all year. This event, now in its’ fifth year invites dozens of senior professionals within the space working at government and corporate levels. Of notable interest, I feel, is the conversation that is to be had with regards to Brexit and Cybersecurity and the implications that haven’t yet been thought about with regards to the sharing of Cyber Intelligence and threats.

CYBERSEC Brussels Leaders’ Foresight is a high-level and exclusive meeting that has a goal of enhancing European cybersecurity preparedness and fostering a competitive IT industry. The main topics of discussions will reflect a motion to take deep cybersecurity actions that will secure the very core aspects of the digital world – also known as digital DNA. It is a task for the entire transatlantic community, NATO, like-minded countries, and the European Parliament and new European Commission in their pursuit of digital strategic autonomy as well as for many national governments.
CYBERSEC Brussels will contribute to that endeavor by bringing closer the new digital agenda of the European Commission and national approaches of the member states.
The biggest and most recent CYBERSEC event – the 5th European Cybersecurity Forum – CYBERSEC CEE took place last October 2019 in Katowice under the motto “Securing the World’s Digital DNA” and gathered 150 speakers and over 1,500 delegates from all over the world. At Brussels’ edition, the event will follow up with some crucial recommendations.
