 Our Review

This is an interesting event; it’s (so far) literally, the only Infrastructure As A Service (IaaS) Conference we’ve had submitted in 2020. If this is an area that you’re interested in this clearly this is an event for you! Furthermore, we haven’t had that many events submitted taking place in Slovenia so we’re delighted to be able to list this one taking place in Llubljana. Good luck to the organizers and let us know how it goes!

Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Monday, January 13th 2020, or created by us.

One of the fastest-growing markets for ICT technologies is the IT center market. In addition to the construction and expansion of new computer centers, solutions, and new technologies are becoming increasingly involved, resulting in a significantly greater capacity with ever-decreasing power consumption. A focus is given to mobile computer centers, control, and management of centers and process management in computer centers.

We focused on planning the security and availability of computer centers in the past but now, we are at a stage where many centers are organized according to modern principals. That is one of the reasons why we spend much more time today controlling and managing supply infrastructure and computer centers.

The key issue here is how to manage emergencies, responses and the risks of everyday operations. Every system and element in a computer center is subject to external influences. Proper selection and design of elements can eliminate or reduce external influences but remember that all of these systems must be properly controlled, maintained and tested.

This includes risk management when choosing a co-location provider. “IaaS” service (infrastructure as a service). In this case, the key information for us is how this provider manages risks and how it manages its system infrastructure.
