This is one of the best Hacker Conferences taking place in Hong Kong – my home city! If you’re living and working in the APAC region then this year there’s no excuse not to attend DragonCon because it is virtual. The folks at DragonCon manage a great event that is aimed at all hackers, penetration testers, and cybersecurity practitioners living and working in Hong Kong.
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Monday, August 31st 2020, or created by us.
Following the first successful event in 2016, Hong Kong’s premier security research and threat intelligence group Dragon Threat Labs is hosting DragonCon, possibly one of the most technically-intensive security conference borne out of Hong Kong. For 4 years now the event has expanded, developed a strong following, and grown in numbers year on year. DragonCon has yet to have empty seats remaining, so if you are thinking of joining us then don’t think for too long – grab your ticket NOW!
Due to COVID-19 DragonCon 5 will be hosted in our home domain – online. This gives an unprecedented opportunity to bring in all of the international guests.
Why Join DragonCon?
DragonCon is run by Hong Kong’s most well known nonprofit cybersecurity research group, Dragon Threat Labs. We are well connected to all industry verticals from junior level right through to executive, making DragonCon the most diverse conference around
Dragon Threat Labs core mission is to help build the cybersecurity community and industry in Hong Kong. To connect Hong Kong with the rest of the world and vice versa. DragonCon is an extension of this objective, and each year we bring people together from all areas of industry and experience with one goal in mind: learning through fun
Over the years some of the most experienced and recognizable names in the cybersecurity industry have presented at DragonCon. With this in mind, not all speakers are industry veterans but are in fact up-and-coming students with boundary-pushing research (this includes 0days!)
