If you want to know all the latest on GDPR and its’ wide-implications then clearly this is the event for you. GDPR has evolved and this conference takes a good hard look at it. This online event affects us all so yes, if you even have a passing interest in InfoSec and or in IT then this event will be worthwhile.
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Monday, May 25th 2020, or created by us.
Who is the target group of the conference?
Are you an executive director, consultant, data protection officer in a company or association, lawyer, risk manager, or IT controller, and do you have to face the challenge of implementing the GDPR? In the course of our European conference we offer you a platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices with other economic operators and data protection professionals.
We also want to give voice to companies to articulate their specific needs as well as their wishes and expectations regarding any adjustments to the relevant data protection laws. In this way, the companies affected by the GDPR are directly involved in the further development of data protection standards.
Originally it was planned to hold the conference in Luxembourg as last year. Please find more information about the GDPR+1 conference here. Due to the developments with the coronavirus we decided to host a virtual GDPR2 conference. The planned presentations will take place online which allows us to make them accessible to all relevant managers and data protection professionals in Europe.
Concept of the conference
Two years after the implementation of the GDPR we would like to use the opportunity to take retrospectively stock of what has been achieved as well as to recapitulate the data protection strategies which have proven to work and to identify the aspects of the GDPR that are still in need of reform. The aim is to jointly develop constructive proposals for solutions and face together the challenges posed by the GDPR.
