Fingers crossed that the date remains as planned. Hack.lu has been taking place for many years now so it’s fantastic to see the organizers put on a brave face and motor through and say that it is taking place. Expect amazing speakers and a sophisticated lineup of Cyber Professionals attend.
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Monday, April 27th 2020, or created by us.
The purpose of the hack.lu conference is to give a free and open playground where participants can discuss the implication of new technologies in society. hack.lu is a balanced mix conference where technical and non-technical people can meet each other and share freely all kind of information.
The conference will be held in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg in October, or at least that was the original plan. As we all know by now, COVID19 is changing everyone’s plans and we should assume that this year will be different, so we’re prepping for a 100% remote event, with the option to have a small physical event if possible, but we won’t be able to tell before September, at best.
Organizers assured that Covid won’t stop the event from presenting the most significant new discoveries about computer network attacks and defenses, commercial security solutions, and pragmatic real-world security experience in a three days series of presentations. Everyone is invited to submit papers, and/or lightning talk proposals for selection by the hack.lu technical review committee.
