We don’t list that many Cybersecurity Events in Oslo so we’re particularly delighted to be able to list this one! This event looks like it is truly and squarely aimed at all the pentesters, crackers, coders and hackers living and working in Oslo! This event combines training too which is fantastic for all the obvious reasons. Good luck with the event and let us know how it goes!
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Wednesday, December 4th 2019, or created by us.
The national Norwegian cybersecurity conference, currently known as HackCon, was founded in 2005 by the network of Norwegian security professionals. The goal of the conference is to create practical cybersecurity courses and conference combined with a social meeting place to meet future challenges within cybersecurity. The network had good relations with KINS (Information security organization for municipalities) and Honeynor, and together these three groups agreed on arranging HackCon #1 during February 8th and 9th 2006.
Conventions ticket prices are quite expensive that’s why HackCon’s aim is to keep the price down. The reason is that organizers want the information spread throughout the community, and make it possible for most people to participate. By doing this, the participants will have the best possible background when meeting future challenges.
If you have a relevant presentation and would like to join other speakers at HackCon, you may send your Call for Papers before December 31, and you’ll be included in the list. You may send it to post [at] hackcon [dot] org.
The best speakers are chosen at HackCon that’s why you’ll expect that everyone will be professional and will present well-documented topics.
