We’ve worked with the folks over at Insider Threat and we’re delighted to be able to list their event taking place this year in Monterey, California. They say that most breaches occur due to the lack of employee awareness either through some form of phishing or social engineering attack; well that’s one side to this pretty awesome two-day event. With their usual roster of amazing speakers we certainly really encourage you to attend, not least if you work in the surrounding region. Let us know if you have attended an Insider Threat event in the past or plan to attend this one in March.
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Thursday, January 9th 2020, or created by us.
The main focus of the Insider Threat Summit is to explore personnel security issues including cybersecurity challenges and capabilities, ethical physical security considerations and continuous evaluation of privileged identities.
A heightened awareness of insider threats due to a large number of unauthorized leaks and newsworthy attacks has brought us together for one main purpose:
To better understand security challenges in order to better defend against insider threats.
By attending the summit, you’ll hear solution-based discussions and interchanges of ideas that will aid in our overall understanding of countering this costly problem of different forms of insider threats.
Ultimately, the goal is to provide a forum of key security-focused leaders who can enlighten, share, and stimulate your security know-how, so you can meet your challenges head-on.
