 Our Review

IoT Huddles are a bunch of small-ish gathering of professionals working with IoT. All events will be virtual. Of course, owing to the (ongoing) COVID situation we’re delighted to be able to list events like this; they keep us all informed and up to date. Of interest, you might also like to take a look at our recommended IoT conferences and events of the year.

IoTC Huddle: The Increasing Importance of Security in the Connected Home / Workplace

The Internet of Things Consortium is hosting an upcoming virtual series of webinars, IoTC Huddles.

This week’s focus will be on the Increased Importance of Security in Connected Homes and Workplaces. The huddles so far have been a huge success and a lot of fun, but, most importantly, played host to some truly important and valuable conversations around the latest developments in this hugely important sector IoT.

As we know, for the future of connected technology to reach its full potential, cross-sector collaboration and networking are critical! With so much uncertainty, postponement, and cancellation happening with in-person meetings and events, our latest virtual initiative, IoTC Huddles consists of a series of private, weekly gatherings and structured conversations for no more than 25 participants. We realize the value of networking which is why the core aim of a huddle is to provide a private and intimate platform for executives in the industry to unite and create a community through an informal, yet structured, discussion around a chosen topic. Items to share include notable industry trends, news stories, or anything pertinent to that week’s developments.

IoTC’s huddles will be hosted every week via zoom, consisting of up to 25 participants who are selected to join each huddle which features a guest host and 2-3 highlighted members and guests, each with their own unique perspective on the future of Connected Technology. This Week’s huddle is focused on Cybersecurity in the Connected Home and Workplace this means security and connected home technology experts can share their thoughts on where their particular verticals are going and the state of the industry as a whole.

With high demand and a maximum capacity per huddle, please email dominie@iofthings.org to apply for a place.
