Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Wednesday, April 15th 2020, or created by us.
Isolation Con is not just another infosec con; their vision is to be the online conference for information security people from all teams and various backgrounds all over the world. They actively encourage participation and collaboration. One of the goals is for attendees and speakers to be immersed in this online event, with activities and debates around the challenges we all face in our working and personal lives, and how they are adapting to the current situation we all face.
The event is free of charge. The objective is to raise money for good causes helping during this crisis. The organizers have decided that the money raised will be given to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) aka Doctors without borders (the UK, USA, and International), they do great work all year round and especially now.
The event will offer 3 online tracks for talks (Blue-team, Purple-team/Appsec, and Red-team) with 3 fantastic Keynote Speakers Dave Kennedy and Tanya Janca, and Ray Redacted! They will also have a CTF and 2 great after-party activities; a pub quiz (hosted by the Beerfarmers) and a special gig which we can now confirm is by ytcracker.
