The conference organizers of this event are an awesome bunch, and we can’t recommend this event enough. You can consider this event as being one of the best InfoSec events in South America, especially in Argentina where this is quite a bustling hacking scene going on in Buenos Aires. There’s also a weekly podcast with an association to this event called sysarmy, that you can learn about here.
Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Tuesday, February 18th 2020, or created by us.
nerdear.la is a five-day event in which you will be able to attend talks, participate in workshops, ask experts about any doubt you may have (and help others as well!), play games, and meet people with similar interests to yours. And all for free!
2020 marks the 7th edition of the unique Latin American event for the IT community, Developers, and STEAM enthusiasts organized by sysarmy: the support for those who give support.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the event will be celebrated online for the first time.
In 2019, the keynote speaker was Jon Maddog Hall and the organizers are looking for great speakers for this year as well.
The event will be going beyond the technology buzzword hype and the aim is to have a conference with talks about real use cases. Having a common thread throughout the event is desired so that each talk adds value to the audience. The goal is to include all topics that help professionals in their daily jobs, but also thought-provoking content.
