We use Linux in the office here at InfoSec Conferences so yes, we were always going to promote this event and wish the organizers the best of luck. Linux and Cybersecurity go together – with regards to working as an InfoSec practitioner. Most tech systems run off Linux, just look at web servers, with the vast majority working on Apache/Ubuntu or a distro therein. If you’re working in tech in the Netherlands then we’d absolutely encourage you to attend this event. Good luck to the organizers and let us know if you attend this event by dropping a review below.
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Thursday, January 30th 2020, or created by us.
NLUUG is an association for (professional) users of Linux / UNIX, Open Source, Open Standards, and Open Systems in the Netherlands. To provide an example, programmers, system administrators, and network specialists fall under the NLUUG community. This does not mean that NLUUG can not be interesting for architects, for example.
If you are a professional who is busy with ‘Open’, then NLUUG is the perfect association where you can keep track of your technical knowledge by attending their biennial conferences.
The aim of NLUUG is to spread the application of and knowledge about “Open” and UNIX / Linux.
NLUUG maintains close ties with many organizations and individuals who pursue the “Open” thoughts.
Please take note that this conference is only accessible to NLUUG members. There are no further costs associated with attending the conference.
