 Our Review

We’re glad to list this event because not a lot of organizers are submitting events in the Nordic region. From what we researched, this is one of the largest InfoSec events in the region that also welcomes papers from different professionals. If you happen to be in Norway, consider attending this event and share your knowledge with other participants.

Conference Event Summary

The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Monday, August 5th 2019, or created by us.

Paranoia is one of the largest InfoSec events in the Nordics that gathers more than 700 participants. The conference is Watchcom’s contribution to a safer society and has a reputation of bringing the most interesting international speakers to Norway. In their earlier years, they have had speakers such as Bruce Schneier, Kevin Mitnick, Rob Wainwright, Mikko Hypponen, and many more.

International security professionals will discuss cyber threats, future scenarios and how people can best prepare for the challenges to come.

The conference also welcomes presentations to both their technical & management track and presentations, courses, and workshops for the Pre-Paranoia.

You may submit the following:

  • A thematic summary of the lecture
  • Word, PDF or Power Point format
  • A speech that gives insight and utility for the participants

Suppliers are invited to submit proposals, but supplier submissions must be neutral and the conference encourages the use of multimedia or live demonstrations.
