Conference Event Summary
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Tuesday, October 20th 2020, or created by us.
The Re-imagining Public Safety in America Summit is a collaboration between Jeffrey Carr’s SAFE HOUSE and SUITS & SPOOKS security summits, and the RANE Network. RANE connects business leaders to critical insights and expertise to enable better risk management outcomes.
SAFE HOUSE organizer Jeffrey Carr has been an internationally-known cybersecurity adviser, author, and researcher since 2006. He is the founder of Suits & Spooks, a “collision” event to discuss hard challenges in the national security space. Jeffrey has briefed the CIA’s Open Source Center, the DIA, the FBI, and the Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Study Group on a variety of cyber intelligence matters. Jeffrey is honored to be a Ponemon Research Distinguished Fellow, a WikiStrat senior analyst, and a member of the RANE Network Advisory board where he specializes in protecting firms from foreign state espionage.
As Time magazine succinctly put it – America’s policing system is broken. It’s time to re-imagine what public safety looks like. SAFE HOUSE and the RANE Network are bringing together the best, most experienced experts in law enforcement, public health, civil rights, and academia, along with policymakers and technologists to address these complex issues with expertise and empathy at the Re-imagining Public Safety in America eSummit. We’ll also produce a post-event deliverable of best practices and make it available to every law enforcement organization and city government in the U.S., as well as recommendations to mend structural shortcomings and community relationships.
