 Our Review

RuhrSec is held annually in Germany that helps security professionals learn more about IT security. What we love about this conference is that their ticket income are donated to a charity institution that also helps other people.

CANCELED: Unfortunately, due to Coronavirus, this event has been canceled.

RuhrSec has been the annual non-profit English speaking IT safety conference with state-of-the-art security talks by distinguished experts since 2016. The conference is being hosted straight in the heart of Bochum near the Ruhr River at the Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. RuhrSec offers industry and academic talks, and a highly recommended social event. All profits from the conference ticket income will be donated to a local non-profit organization.

Profits from the conference ticket income in 2019 was donated to a Kinderhospizdienst Ruhrgebiet e.V. It supports children diagnosed with critical illnesses and their relatives.

The conference will consist of two-days training on May 5 – 6, 2020 followed by two-days of high-quality IT security talks on May 7 – 8, 2020. The conference program will be made public at the end of January.
