This event, in the home of Cyber Security (well, along with the UK – our opinion!), is fantastic and we like it because the content is different from the usual Cyber Conference. This event takes a look at two subject matters: management and technical aspects of our industry. This content widens the reach of delegates so, yes – this is interesting and we’d certainly encourage you to investigate this event further not least if you live and work in Richmond, USA.

RVAsec is the first Richmond, Virginia, security convention that gathers top speakers to the mid-Atlantic region.
2019 RVAsec attracted more than 750 security experts from across the country. The event is dual-track and has a mixed focus on management and technical presentations.
The conference will be held on May 5 – 6, 2020.
Event organizers are also looking for speakers. Talks must be 50 minutes in length, and submissions will need to select from one of three tracks:
The following types of presentations will not be accepted:
- Sales or marketing for companies or products
- CFP submissions from in-house or agency PR/marketing professionals
- Talks which do not offer new insight or perspective
For those who will be speaking at the conference, RVAsec will hold no copyright on presentation content, but all speakers will be required to provide the approval to post slides and video recordings of the talk on the RVAsec or other web sites.
