Definitely one of the more interesting hacker-type conferences I’ve listed recently. These practical “hands-on” events are always the best. This year ShellCon is virtual like most other conferences in 2020. We wish the team the best of luck with their security event in LA and as ever, if you do attend this virtual conference please go ahead and drop a review below, we’d love to learn more about it.
The following description was either submitted by the Conference Organizer on Friday, July 24th 2020, or created by us.
ShellCon is an information security conference that is held annually in the beautiful beach cities of Los Angeles. The event is a growing conference that creates an atmosphere of open communication, collaboration, and connection. The organizers’ value community, technical knowledge, and getting your hands dirty.
Presentations and events at the con will have a focus on practicality and real-world applications. We want you to walk away from ShellCon with an itch to try what you just learned and the knowledge to do so.
Due to the current situation happening around the world, this year’s event will be held virtually but the event is still looking for speakers. Please check their website for more information.
Since ShellCon is a security conference, presentations should focus on topics that are relevant and useful to security practitioners. When selecting talks, special emphasis will be placed on those that teach skills, concepts, tools, or techniques that the audience can put to use immediately. Complete conference details can be found at shellcon.io.
