SecureWorld Remote Sessions is a series of daily briefings on security topics of particular relevance during times of disruptive incidents and remote working challenges. Our purpose is to help the InfoSec community stay connected, encouraged, and continuing to learn and share.
Tune in for 45 minutes to an hour—either live or on-demand—and receive 1 CPE credit in the process. For speaker and topic updates, keep an eye on the Remote Sessions lineup and check back frequently as sessions are added to the calendar. The Seahorse Program is an open-source community research program examining the data lifecycle with the goals of defining a universal data lifecycle, data valuation, and impact model, and ultimately improving data interoperability.
In this webinar, Dr. Michael McGrath, the lead researcher on Seahorse and Senior Director of Compliance and Digital Risk at Proofpoint, will quickly explain the model. He will then facilitate a discussion on how using this view of data helps organizations understand and improve the use and management of data from the perspective of security, cost, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Join this webinar and gain valuable insights as we cover:
- What the Seahorse Program model is
- How this view of data improves the use and management of data
- How it can be applied to improve data usage, governance, and compliance
