This is another privacy and risk virtual event taking place in 2020. We are posting more and more of these events, perhaps we are seeing a surge of privacy and risk worries given the fact that many employees are still working from home. The 2020 Symposium on Usable Privacy and Security (SOUPS) will gather an interdisciplinary group of practitioners and researchers in human-computer interaction, privacy, and security. The event program will feature:
- Technical papers, including replication papers and systematization of knowledge papers
- Workshops and tutorials
- A poster session
- Lightning talks
Authors are invited to submit previously unpublished papers describing experience or research in all areas of usable privacy and security.
Different variety of research methods, including both quantitative and qualitative approaches, are welcomed.
Papers will be judged on their scientific quality, overall quality, and value to the community.
